hello (: my name is jacky, i'm twenty years old and i live in southern california. i balance my time at work, in school (i'm a full time college student), and creating/performing music with my band. those three, along with spending time with my family, are the most important things in my life right now - sounds sad, but honestly, i have a lovely life, haha :) i absolutely love my job, i started off as an intern and was hired off the bat and am an associate now; once i graduate from college i'll have the opportunity to grow further. school is a priority, but, i hate it... with a passion. i'm doing well so far, only because i want to get out ASAP. my band is what keeps me moving - we're an all girl band and i love them dearly. luckily, we haven't had any crazy fights - which i expected when dealing with 4 completely different girls - but i've found that the love of music and performing has gotten us through all of that. we play everything from rock, pop rock, reggae, and slow ballads. recently, we've experimented with mixing aspects of pop, metal (yes), and 70s rock together in a new song called 'dark doorways'... it's proving to be interesting, we're hoping it works out.

other than that, i enjoy baking and decorating cupcakes/cakes, cooking, reading, and watching movies (anything but horror films, please). i'm obsessed with 'friends', it's my all time favorite sitcom. i love going to concerts and shows, the last performance i attended was an adele concert last month: she's golden, seriously. her talent goes beyond music today and transports you back to years ago, when there was real music in the world. i love meeting new people, networking, and making the world smaller and more personal. i try to leave a mark in the world by doing good for others; there is nothing better than putting a smile on the face of a stranger. i don't have much, but i'd give it all to make you happy :)

i don't know what else to write, i don't want to bore you any longer, so... goodbye, for now.
