Corinne Bouchoux (born 5 January 1964) is a French historian and politician who was senator for Maine-et-Loire from 2011 to 2017.

Career[edit]

In 2006, Bouchoux published a biography on Rose Valland titled Rose Valland: Resistance at the Museum.[1] Robert Edsel bought the rights to the book for use in the production of the film Monuments Men.[1]

Personal life[edit]

Bouchoux was the first openly lesbian senator in France.[2] She has been in a civil partnership with historian Christine Bard since 2001.[2]
