The Tweed Run[edit]

The Tweed Run is a one-of-a-kind spectacular public bicycle ride through London's historic streets, with a prerequisite that ladies and gentlemen wear their best tweed 1920s and 30s cycling attire. Running annually since 2009, 2015's event sold out in less than two minutes for 750 participants who travelled form all over the UK and Europe to take part. 2015s London route began at Trafalgar Square, with breaks at some of the city's finest landmarks and hidden gems, before ending up at one of the most stylish venues in the West End for a glass of Champagne.

The first Tweed Run was held in 2009, when 300 tweed-clad cyclists congregated at London's Savile Row. Since then, the event has grown and is now held in multiple countries around the world.

Tickets are sold via a ballot system, and £5 of each ticket is donated to the London Cycling Campaign.
