Dwo Wen Chen is a Taiwanese ceramicist living and working in Providence, Rhode Island.

Studied painting at Rhode Island School of Design.[1]Chen received his received Master In Arts in Education degree in 1989. [2] Chen opened Three Wheel Studio, a ceramics studio and retail space, in Providence, Rhode Island in 2011.

Chen is known for his natural themes in his work, including motifs of flowers, birds, and plants.[3] Chen sometimes uses leaves during the firing process, which leaves impression on the clay. The leaves are often ginko and maple leaves.[4] Chen's work has been displayed at the Boston Museum of Fine Art, the Britsol Art Museum, and the Ann Arbor Art Fair.[1]
