Mary Beth Meehan is an American photojournalist from Brockton, Massachusetts living in Providence, Rhode Island. Meehan was a photographer for the Providence Journal from 1995-2002. During her career at the Journal, Meehan was also a faculty member at the Missouri Photo Workshop.[1]
Meehan has created a number of photography series related to places and the people who live there, including City of Champions in Brockton, Massachusetts in 2005, [2], Undocumented:Putting a Face on Invisible Lives in 2011, and Seeing Newnan, in Newnan, Georgia in 2019 [3]. Seen/Unseen, one of her large-format portrait series, has been installed on buildings in downtown Providence since 2016. [4]
