Michelle Le Brun is a documentary filmmaker and educator living and working in Rhode Island. Le Brun is known for her documentary film, Death: A Love Story, which documented the death of her husband. The film was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival in 1999, and is used for teaching in over 500 universities and schools across the United States and Canada.[1] Le Brun founded the film production company Harken Youth Media in 2005. Le Brun has been a finalist juror for the Rhode Island Film Festival[2] and teaches film at the University of Rhode Island.[3]
