Bahamian nationality is governed by the Bahamian Nationality Act 1973.

Dual nationality[edit]
Dual nationality is allowed in some circumstances, however some naturalised persons need to renounce any other nationality they may have or sign a declaration if their nationality is not reasonably be renounced[1]
Deprivation of Bahamian citizenship[edit]
Under certain circumstances, the Minister may deprive conferred citizenship.[2]
