I'm Jamie Somers, I started editing Wikipedia on the 3rd of December 2021. My interests are related to Optics and I usually edit pages relating to Laser Physics and diversity within optical physics.

I started editing Wikipedia as part of a DiversiWiki virtual Wikipedia edit-a-thon hosted by Optica in December of 2021. The goal of the edit-a-thon is to use our expertise and knowledge of the field of optics to improve visibility and diversity for underrepresented people in optics on Wikipedia.
