Testing of new date checking for citation templates[edit]

This is an actual example from Daylight savings time.

Alex Beam (2005-07-26). "Dim-witted proposal for daylight time". Boston Globe.

Working example from Module talk:Citation/CS1

Title. February 29, 2013. {{cite book}}: Check date values in: |date= (help)

Experiment with all-numeric.

Alex Beam (July 26, 2005). "Dim-witted proposal for daylight time". Boston Globe.

Modify by removing author, to see if the RFC on consistent date location has been implemented:

"Dim-witted proposal for daylight time". Boston Globe. July 26, 2005.

Restore author, but see if leap year logic is correct for 1900:

Alex Beam (February 29, 1900). "Dim-witted proposal for daylight time". Boston Globe. {{cite news}}: Check date values in: |date= (help)

Check if leap year logic is correct for February 29, 1700, which was a valid date in Britain but not in France:

Alex Beam (February 29, 1700). "Dim-witted proposal for daylight time". Boston Globe. {{cite news}}: Check date values in: |date= (help)

Check if leap year logic is correct for February 29, 1500, a Julian calendar date:

Alex Beam (February 29, 1500). "Dim-witted proposal for daylight time". Boston Globe.

See if writing the date in all-numeric format triggers an error in 1500:

Alex Beam (1500-02-29). "Dim-witted proposal for daylight time". Boston Globe. {{cite news}}: Check date values in: |date= (help)

Some style guides such as APA call for explicitly stating that a publication does not bear a publication date:

Alex Beam (n.d.). "Dim-witted proposal for daylight time". Boston Globe.
