Transboundary Freshwater Dispute Database ...

The Transboundary Freshwater Dispute Database (TFDD) is held and maintained at Oregon State University[1] in Corvallis, Oregon. The TFDD is a collection of research led by Dr. Aaron T. Wolf[2], Geography Professor in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences. A number of students, independent researchers, and organizations have contributed to and expanded the collection held within the databases over the last 15 years. Contained within the database is a variety of information pertaining to global international freshwater resources, to include international treaties, water basin events, river basin organizations, bibliographies of publications related to international water conflict and cooperation, links to publications about international freshwater systems, and links to various other websites that deal with these issues and topics.

There is an interactive map that allows for users to add or remove data layers of information including climate, dams, discharge, irrigation, landcover, population, projects, RBOs, runoff, tenders, treaties, water stress, water access, and transboundary aquifers. This information can be downloaded as a shapefile for further analysis.
