'Institute for the study of Political Economy and Law (IPEL)'

The Institute for the study of Political Economy and Law (IPEL) was established in 2011 at the International University College of Turin (IUC). Its aim is to broadly examine the intersections of politics, law and economics through a variety of research agendas, scholarly events, and academic publications and reports. The Institute seeks to foster a research-based forum for innovative collaboration and consultant research by emerging and established scholars and practitioners from diverse geography, ideology and disciplinary perspectives to address the growing challenges facing the global hegemony of liberalism.

The Institute is run under the Directorship of Professors Joseph Halevi and Gunther Teubner, and operates under the general remit of the International University College of Turin and its Office of the Academic Coordinator.
