After she was banned (Oct 11, 2007), Tweety21 invoked the "right to vanish". Her main interest, she claimed, was deleting any personal information which had surfaced due to her own careless editing habits (editing while not logged in but identifying herself as Tweety21, signing her real name, posting personal information (real or made up), etc.). At first she used socks in an attempt to remove the content—by the end of the month, the office decided to humor her (despite the "right to vanish" not usually being extented to banned users) and deleted or blanked the information. In early December, a checkuser request confirmed she was back editing. Everything that had been blanked/deleted was reverted, as she chose to not actually vanish. Since then she's vandalized with socks and IPs (mostly talk pages of her other socks and IPs, her ban discussion, etc.); she also posts complaints on Jimbo's talk page. It seems that as the blocks on IPs expire, she returns to editing from them. There is an open checkuser request to see if she has any sleeper accounts. The vast majority of her IP edits have originated from London, Ontario.

Tweety21 is a banned editor (as of Oct 11, 2007) who took a dislike to my scrutinization of some articles she created. Some articles I improved to meet Wikipedia standards, others, after attempting to improve them, I nominated for deletion. Since I got on her bad side she has accused me (and other editors, but I seem to be the focus of her attention) of a variety of misdeeds. Her claims escalated as admin after admin dismissed her, to the point where she said she was the subject of off-wiki harassment (via emails and MySpace).

Sick of her accusations, I went through all of her edits I could find and compiled a list that clearly shows the disruptive quality of her time spent on Wikipedia. When blocked, she created sockpuppets. When banned, she continued to edit (with socks and anon IPs).

216.240.7.14 is the ISP Odynet, and originates in London, Ontario; 216.191.208.99 is from Allstream, another ISP, and originates in Belleville, Ontario; 198.96.80.15 is the London [Ontario] Public Library; and 99.249.172.137 is from Rogers Communication (another ISP in London, Ontario). The IP range 142.205.xxx.xxx is owned by Toronto-Dominion Bank; 74.110.247.117 is from the ISP Rogers Cable and originates in London, Ontario; and 65.95.xxx.xxx and 70.54.193.128 are Bell Canada's Sympatico high-speed internet, and originate in London, Ontario. 205.211.141.243 is [[Fanshawe College] in London, Ontario. 65.119.181.165 is owned by Bradford Exchange, a company with a branch in London, Ontario. Odd IP out is 24.136.xxx.xx which is from Earthlink in Raleigh, North Carolina; all edits from these IP were made within a 4-day period.

She blames others for exposing her personal information when in fact she did it herself—editing from various IPs and making it clear that it was Tweety21 doing the editing. She has mentioned where she lives a number of times; she's even posted her real name and email address.

Disruptive editing[edit]

Even if you overlook all of her post-ban edits, which are mostly focused on removing warnings/block templates/etc., she already had an impressive resume of disruptive edits, including !vote-stacking and legal threats.

She claims to have never !vote-stacked, that she only edited while accidentally not signed in. There are plenty of diffs showing that to be a lie:

Claimed in an edit summary that I accused her of editing from Comcast, which to my knowledge I never have. The only thing I can think of is a checkuser I submitted that came back negative. Perhaps she was visiting somewhere that had Comcast (she was editing from a US ISP around the same time). — diff

Also edits other Wikipedias, mostly creating/editing articles for her obsession, Jordan Galland, and spamming her Dopo Yume MySpace fan page. Surprisingly, apart from her early edits to the French Wikipedia, she seems to be sticking to just one ID. (Except for her copyright violation upload to the Commons as Littlebeatle.
