History

Francois Boegli is the founder and namesake of Boegli. Unlike his predecessors, he was consumed by not one, but two passions: his family’s craft and classical music. It was Francois Boegli's strong commitment to both that led him to revive the nearly-lost art of musical watches. Ever true to his blood, he sought to create an innovative line of products that would revive the musical watch. His vision was to create designer musical watches that played refined melodies for people with refined tastes. Together with a small team that shared his passion for music and watchmaking, he founded Boegli Watches, Ltd. in 2000.

To this day, the same passion, vision, and commitment to quality, define Boegli’s brand standard, paving the way for a growing line-up of fashionable, novel, and unquestionably refined timepieces.

Music movement

Boegli is one of a few watchmakers still producing legendary timepieces with musical movement — a style that was invented 200 years ago. All Boegli watches contain hand-assembled mechanical parts made entirely by expert watchmakers in Switzerland’s Jura valley. To ensure a high degree of excellence, Boegli has developed special manufacturing techniques to make the sound of the musical watches as clear as possible.

Grand Opera

The Grand Opéra collection features modern masterpieces encased in sapphire crystal glass and Swiss titanium case back that allows one to admire this collection’s beauty. The wrist watches in this collection are available in IP black, IP rose gold, stainless steel, and bicolor with one the following melodies: Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons”, Beethoven’s “Für Elise”, Mozart’s “The Magic Flute”, Chopin’s “Tristesse”, Verdi’s “Aida”.

Pocket watches

Adagio

The Adagio pocket watch collection is all about a lifestyle rooted in profound wisdom and elegance. The pocket watches in this collection are made for the discerning gentleman and are available in full hunter and coverless versions. Available in palladium and gold finish with Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons”, Beethoven’s “Für Elise” or Mozart’s “The Magic Flute”.

Baroque

The Baroque pocket watch collection represents the genesis of Boegli watches, as the first Boegli musical watch models featured the same distinct dial and design. The pocket watches from this collection play Beethoven’s “Für Elise”, Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” or Mozart’s “The Magic Flute”. The watches are available in Gold and Palladium finish.

Concerto

The Concerto pocket watch collection conveys classic style with its oval dial and Roman numerals. The pocket watches from this collection are available with white, navy and camel dial and Beethoven’s “Für Elise”, Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” or Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons”. Тhe case is made of fully polished 5-micron palladium plating or 10-micron gold plating, and is available only in hunter (with cover) versions.

Soprano

The Soprano pocket watch collection features a unique heart-shaped dial with big, red Arabic numerals and Mendelssohn’s “Wedding March”. Тhe case is made of fully polished 5-micron palladium plating or 10-micron gold plating, and is available only in coverless-with-stand versions.

Symphonia

In design, the Symphonia pocket watch collection is similar to the Baroque collection; its uniqueness lies in a dial that has an embossed guilloché ice motif. The pocket watches in this collection are available with white, pearl, navy and brown dial and the melody of Beethoven’s “Für Elise”, Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” or Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons”. Тhe case is made of fully polished 5-micron palladium plating or 10-micron gold plating and is available in hunter and coverless versions.

Limited edition

Four Seasons

The Four Seasons collection is limited to 20 pieces. This limited-edition collection consisting of four types of pocket watches features Vivaldi’s "The Four Seasons". The dial’s design (namely, the pattern of winter, spring, summer and autumn), was designed by Austrian artist Timothy John. Тhe case is made of fully polished 5-micron palladium plating and is available in hunter and coverless versions.

Composers

The Composers collection is limited to 250 pieces. This limited-edition pocket watch collection features a portrait of Beethoven, Chopin, or Mozart on the dial and plays corresponding melodies: “Für Elise”, “Tristesse” or “The Magic Flute”. Тhe case is made of fully polished 5-micron palladium plating or 10-micron gold plating and is available in hunter and coverless versions.

National Anthems

The National Anthems collection is limited in quantity. The dial’s design contains the coat of arms and symbols of a particular state and the melodies played are their national anthems. As such, the watches design is chosen by the client. Тhe case is made of fully polished 5-micron palladium plating or 10-micron gold plating and is available in hunter and coverless versions.
