I come in peace[edit]

Hello, {}, I am {} (talk · contribs · count). This reply is in response to the message that you left for me on {}.

First, let me say that I come in peace. I in no way wish to cause you stress or hassle you. I realize that it can be frustrating when another editor disagrees with one of your edits. It seems perfectly natural to me, that given your unique point of view on this issue, you would feel justified in having taken the actions that you did, and may feel now that you must defend them to the last.

However, an important part of wikiculture is collaboration. It is vital that we discuss this issue and come to some agreement. To that end, I ask you to take some time to cool off, and consider what is best for the encyclopedia in this case. After all, when we took on the task of editing the wikipedia, we assumed the responsibility to create a useful resource for the reader.

I assume good faith on your part, in making the original edit(s) that you did. But I find that the tone and content of the message you left me was a Personal attack. I must ask you to please refrain from making any further personal attacks, as we work together to resolve this issue.

I hope to hear from you soon, and look forward to arriving at a conclusion that we both can live with, and is in the best interest of our community.

Sincerely, {}
