From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My name is Jessica, I have been a stay at home mom for the past six years taking care of my three daughters who make sure my life never has a dull moment. I just recently started back to school at Olympic College where I am pursuing my prerequisites for nursing. I enjoy going to the gym, being outdoors and hosting game nights.  I also love trying new recipes and baking cakes.

I would certainly use Wikipedia in my future for looking up facts, research and writing papers. I could see myself looking up biography, geography and history pages. I enjoy reading strange, random facts.

Article Review[edit]

I have recently become interested in Scandinavian Folklore. I find all the beliefs, customs and stories to be fascinating. I started looking at the Scandinavian Folklore page and ended up visiting and choosing the page Tiberi on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of its worth commenting on: its lack of references, its lack of images, and the way it is formatted.

References[edit]

There were very few references on the page. The second reference used was a dead and didn't lead to anything. The fourth reference is in Icelandic and you can't get information from it. There are many books on Scandinavian Folklore and they could have more information and references for the page.

Images[edit]

When looking at the page I was very surprised that there wasn't any drawings or photos of what the Tilberi look like. The Tiberi are very creepy looking and I think adding a photo or drawing would be a great addition to the page.

Format[edit]

When first looking at the page it looks like one giant paragraph. I think there could be more information on the page and it could be better organized. By organizing and adding headings it could really bump this page to a new level, making it easier to read and it would look professional and polished.

Summary[edit]

I would say this is a pretty good page. I think to make it a great page they could find more references and find more stories or information on the Tilberi. I think adding and image to the page would be awesome and organizing and changing the format would make for a more professional looking page.

(sidenote: As part of this assignment, I also posted on the talk page saying how I think they could add a picture. Talk:Tilberi)
