You still got lots to work on before copying it over to the main article:

  • Make sure you include 5-10 sentences about your species divided into the following sections: Description, Distribution, Habitat.
  • Distribute the information to the respective sections. For example, under Description should be anything related how they look (morphology and anatomy, some biology), not in which habitat they can be found.
  • Distribution: include their overall distribution (see some of the references below)
  • Remember that Wikipedia is a website access by people from across the world, and not only Hawaii. For example under Distribution, don't say where it cannot be found, but rather write where it can be found worldwide. (see the sources i shared below).
  • Make sure your sentences are all easy to understand and have perfect grammar. Remember that this is an encyclopedia read by people across the world who might not have English as a first language.
  • Make sure that each sentence is connected to the reference you got that information from using the "Cite function in Wikipeida. (check the training for that if you forgot) If you do it correctly the reference list will be made automatically.
  • Make sure that all scientific species names are in italic with only the genus capitalized: Eurythoe complanata.
  • References: Add at least 4 more sources. Your sources 2-4 are other wikipedia pages, which do not count as a source. You can link to Wikipedia pages using the link function instead. Here are some sources that would work:

Article Draft[edit]

Lead[edit]

Eurythoe Complanata[1][2], common name the Iridescent Fireworm and Cosmopolitan fireworm, is a species of the Polychaeta[3], a marine worm from the family of Amphinomidae[4]. This amphinomid has white bristles that can create a feeling of itchiness or burning. This specific worm can be similar to other sea mice and polychaeta species found across the Pacific and Atlantic ocean.

Distribution[edit]

This species of polychaeta isn't endemic and is not commonly seen in Hawai'i but can still be found. These bristle worms can be found on the surface of reefs.
