Later on in that same year (September 1997), he was posted to Holy Trinity Anglican church Ifakala which he worked hard to change the name (formerly St. Andrews Church) when he realized that the church was not growing even after being planted for over 30 years. The church today is doing well and has become a parish. Josiah Nworie stayed in Ifakala from 1997 to 1999, and was transferred to St. Marks Anglican Church Idem Ogwa where he served for 4 years. By 2005, he took a leave of absence from the Diocese of Owerri and went to the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme of the Federal Government of Nigeria. After his NYSC scheme in 2006, he proceeded to the University of Ibadan, Ibadan Nigeria for a Master’s Degree programme in Library and Information Science (MLIS), and graduated well in 2008. He served in the Cathedral Church for 6 years, and was posted to St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church Akwakuma Owerri in 2013 – 2018.
