Daniel Hilpert (born August 12, 1977) is an American businessman and publisher. He is the founder of Equicap, a real estate investment firm, and serves as the publisher and editor-in-chief of EQ Magazine. Additionally, Hilpert is known for his work as an automotive journalist, regularly contributing articles to EQ Magazine.[1][2][3]

Early life and education[edit]

Hilpert was born on August 12, 1977. He graduated from Columbia University in 2002 with a degree in business and architecture.[4]

Career[edit]

Following his graduation, Hilpert founded Equicap, a real estate investment firm.[5][6][7][8]

Hilpert is an advisory board member at Hilbert 8, an investment firm.[9] He is frequently invited as a speaker at industry events.[10] His insights and opinions have been quoted in leading industry publications.[11][12]

Automotive publisher and journalist[edit]

In 2019, Hilpert launched EQ Magazine, an automotive publication. He holds the roles of publisher and editor-in-chief, steering the magazine's editorial direction and business strategies. EQ Magazine primarily covers automotive news, trends, and entrepreneurial stories. As an automotive journalist, Hilpert frequently contributes articles to EQ Magazine. His work often highlights influential automotive entrepreneurs, including figures such as Jim Glickenhaus[13] and Mate Rimac,[14] exploring their contributions to the automotive industry and innovations.
