Bristol Fredricks is an undergraduate student at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He has been assigned several projects that will need to be completed prior to December 2011. One of which will be a collaborative effort to create a Wikipedia article about LSU Tiger Trails, the transportation system in use by Louisiana State University.
Summer 2011[edit]
On May 15, 2011 summer began and that same day Bristol Fredricks packed his Jeep Wrangler for his travels. Eighteen hours and 1,100 miles later, he arrived at his first destination - Fairfax, Virginia. Anticipating the burden of having a demanding job in Washington, D.C., Bristol informed no one regarding his travels. He simply put it, "less communication, less worries." Contrary to his belief, he was quick to find out that he was out of a job due to the recession on the work. In this case his saying was incorrect. Bristol drove over a thousand miles straight to work at a place he no longer was employed.
Bristol turned his focus towards two daily activities: basketball and working out. Previously is the Spring semester he set goals that he found necessary to meet before he cut his lush long growing hair.
The goals follow:
- Do 50 pushups with good form
- Run 2 miles in under 15 minutes
- Dumbbell press 70's easily
- Squat 350lbs
- Dunk on a regulation basketball court
There was now nothing in the way of reaching his goals in a decent amount of time. Bristol spent hours and the gym and the court each day. Eventually his urge to travel set in. He grabbed his high-tops and a duffle and headed North once again. The road is liberating with the constant changing of scenery, even more so once you pass the Citizens Bank Park on I-95. Ten miles Northeast of Northeast Philadelphia was the destination - Levittown, Pennsylvania. Back in his stomping grounds, Bristol met up with his closest friend Adam Roth. It only took the first syllable of the word basketball for them to put on their high-tops and make way to the court down the street. Once they stepped foot on the court, it was made known that it was going to be an epic summer.
