I wanted to start being an editor for Wikipedia after being inspired by a Reddit post about one of the top Wikipedia editors, Ser_Amantio_di_Nicolao I think there is an incredible value here, and especially as an academic resource. I did not realize how much went in to fact checking, and editing, and just how much checks and balances there are, and I think that makes this platform an incredible tool. I also would like to urge you to donate to wikipedia, maybe monthly if you can!

Who I Am[edit]

I live in New Jersey, as evident by the username. I am in my 20s and going to school for Bible and Theology, so a lot of my edits will be in that sphere. I will do my best to make edits and pages in the Christian Hip Hop area as well, but I don't follow a lot of the newer artists, they are not usually good. (I'll have a page about that at some point)

What I Do[edit]

Before going for Bible and Theology, I attended a local community college and then NJIT for Information Technology. I still program a lot, and work in IT for the time being, but outside of that I do not work in computers that much. My goal is to use what I know of computers to apply that to the Bible, and Christian living. I have an app out on the Google Play Store for the Professor Grant Horner Bible Reading System, and I plan on adjusting it to work for any reading plan.

Things I like[edit]

I already noted that I like Christian Hip Hop, and I'm also a fan of normal hip hop too. I love learning, but I have ADHD (I should be writing papers right now). A lot of the things I create with programming are to be helpful to me, and then I share them with others. One of the tools I'm releasing shortly is an autolocker. You set it to start at a certain time and end at a certain time, and in that time period, your computer will stay locked. If you try to log in, it immediately locks again. I was going to go the shutdown route, but then you have the possibility of losing all your hard work, and no one wants that.

I really like history, but I also really like the future. However, I do think that there are many things that we have done, or plan to do, that will have negative impacts that we won't realize until it is too late. For instance, we're starting to realize more and more the butterfly-affect danger that stemmed from the creation of the lightbulb. Who knew that an item designed to eliminate sleep would cause problems?

Additional[edit]

As I think of more things, I'll edit this with more things. If you have any questions, reach out. I'm not sure how, but yea. Also, I try to edit using the source edit, not the visual editor, so if there are mistakes, bare with me.
