While lacking in a formal computer programming education for the moment, I've had extensive experience programming with C++, using Lua for a number of things (MUD client plugins, World of Warcraft plugins, scripting languages for my own hobby games). This hobby lead to my extensive research into and use of regular expressions to parse just about anything you can think of.
Prior to diving head first into C++, I was a heavy user of GML and MOO code for a number of personal projects.
