Short description[edit]

Lingoport offers i18n [1] and l10n tools and services that bridge the gap between development and localization teams [2].  The mission is that all companies worldwide have a simple way of constantly developing global-ready software, and they keep it globalized. The company’s CEO Adam Asnes is a frequent speaker on globalization technology [3] as it affects businesses expanding their worldwide reach.

History[edit]

Lingoport was founded in 2001 by Adam Asnes [4] .  The original objective was to help organizations build world-ready software with easy localization in every sprint and release [5].

In 2015, Lingoport & Lingotek became Solution Partners [6]. They combined workflows that deliver always-on “plugged-in” software localization [7].

Lingoport has built partnerships with leading Translation Management Systems, Localization Vendors, and Machine Translation providers, such as Systran [8], RWS group (Trados) [9], Vistatec [10], XTM International [11], Acolad [12], etc.

In 2022, Lingoport was named one of the top 25 most innovative companies in the language industry by Nimdzi Insights.

In October 2023, Lingoport announced the launch of its ebook: “Can’t See, Won’t Fix: An eBook to Prevent i18n Technical Debt" [13].

In February 2023, Lingoport launched a Figma connector, allowing designers to adapt multilingual designs without leaving the tool [14].

Among Lingoport's clients are multinational corporations and smaller software companies, including such names as Workday Workday, Inc., Visa Inc., Snapchat, Upwork, Siemens, Intel, Broadcast, Motorola, Measurable, Cisco, etc.

Team[edit]

Adam Asnes is a usual conference speaker:Localization World Conferences in 2007 [15] and 2010 [16] “Global Software Strategies” conference in Santa Clara, and the “Localization Technology Roundtable” in Palo Alto [17].

Adam Asnes was named one of the Top 100 localization influencers in 2021 by Nimdzi and got into the list of “Top 34 influencers in the language industry” by MultiLingual Media in 2024 [18]

Olivier Libouban, VP of product development at Lingoport, spoke at the LocWorld48 Silicon Valley conference “Unlimited” [19] in November 2022, and at the conference LocWorld50 Silicon Valley28 together with Lucio Gutierrez from Workday.

Product[edit]

Lingoport has created a flexible methodology37 to help developers tackle internationalization and localization issues38.

Lingoport’s suite of products includes Globalyzer [20], Localyzer [21], and LocalyzerQA [22]. The Lingoport Suite supports the continuous globalization process, from the code repository [23] to the translation vendors and back. Lingoport has 19 repositories available [24] as trial versions for free.

Globalyzer -  help developers to find and fix internationalization issues in their source code.

Localyzer - automates the software localization process, integrating with development environments to streamline the translation of software applications. It detects new or updated text strings, sends them for translation, and re-integrates the translated content back into the software, facilitating continuous localization within agile development cycles.

LocalyzerQA - streamlines linguistic quality assurance, making agile localization faster and easier by reducing the number of steps needed to ensure translations are accurate and fit well within the application's context.

Also, Lingoport provides software internationalization consulting services (i18n analysis and implementation, custom projects, process customization, etc).
