March’08 – Dec2009 Project: RBC Global Securities Aggregation Project(GSAP) Client RBC Environment: ASP .NET, SQL Server 2000, Ascential DataStage 7.5 Role: Developer

Brief description of the project: RBC Financial Group operates in a complex regulatory and tax environment that gives rise to issues concerning the aggregate equity and equity related security positions held across all RBC units.

These issues include securities laws relative to takeover and insider reporting and other reporting such as SEC 13f filing requirements, OSFI and Federal Reserve regulations with respect to ownership restrictions, tax issues relating to denied loss and dividend rental/beneficial ownership issues, as well as legislation in both Canada, the U.S. and other jurisdictions around disclosure of enterprise holdings in equities covered in research analyst reports. In addition to mitigating the company’s risk of potential regulatory and/or legal penalties, this project will move to pull together data previously decentralized across business and geographic lines and drive to consistency of rule application and completeness of information.

The Global Securities Aggregation Project will:

• Identify and implement a comprehensive technology solution to RBC’s aggregated reporting requirements. • Revise policies and procedures to reflect the current regulatory/legal requirements. • Identify and implement a comprehensive technology solution to RBC’s aggregated reporting requirements. • Conduct legal work to ensure all aggregation requirements are identified, understood and included.

Phase 2 of the project included additional Regulations and enhancements to the system. The project involved the creation of the requirements documents after analyzing the business, in addition to the other phases of the SDLC.


Responsible for:

• Developing components of GSAP. • Unit Testing and code review • Support different phases of testing. • Developing stored procedures & optimizing for performance gain. • Involved in User Acceptance Testing. • Maintenance & bug fixing, resolving MQC defects. • Working on design documents.

Jan ’10 – July 11 Project: RBTT Cards BIS Design Client Royal Bank Of Canada, Toronto Environment: Datastage 8.1, MS SQL Server 2005 Role: Sr. Developer

Brief description of the project: To have a centralized management of credit cards applications, RBTT is substituting Vision plus system with TS prime. In accordance with this initiative a batch processing Interface layer needs to be developed to manage feed transactions between TS prime and RBTT system. AS part of this project initiative, solution architecture, design and development plan have to be prepared.

Responsible for: • Requirement Analysis • Interacting with client to refine non-functional requirements. • Preparation of Low Level Design Documents. • Preparation of development estimates for planning of dev phase activities. • Developing component for RBTT Cards. • Unit Testing and code review


Aug 11-Dec11 Project: Arval Fuel Card DWH Client ARVAL Environment: IIS Datastage 8.1, Oracle 10g, Unix Role: System Analysts

Brief description of the project:

Arval is an operational leasing and the management of corporate vehicles and fuel management company in UK. The proposed Fuel Card Data Warehouse solution will consist of legacy data, new data and changes relating to Customers, Accounts, and Merchants. Arval uses the Data Warehouse to generate critical reports for Fuel Card Customers, Accounts, Merchants and related entities. Overall Scope of the Arval Card Data warehouse is to capture all the Card Reporting information required for internal and external customers. This dwh would provide a platform which will be used for analytical and reporting capability for ARVAL and it would help business in decision making, forecasting by accessing reports.

Responsible for:

• Developing and Maintaining ETL jobs. • Involved in analyzing the business user requirements. • Preparing Technical design documents. • Data received from source transactional systems and then loaded into Database using Data stage client tools. • Used Sequential file, Oracle, Joins, Look Up, Transformer, File set, Dataset, Filter Stage for designing the Jobs. • Involving in performance tuning. • Performed Unit, Integration and Functional testing. • Worked with IIS Datastage Manager for importing metadata from repository. • Written Shell Scripts to run data stage jobs, PL/SQL blocks, FTP of files and data reconciliation.
