Parag Pradeep Mhetre

Parag Pradeep Mhetre (born February 13, 1978, in Pune, India) is a distinguished Indian Kettlebell Sport athlete, coach, entrepreneur, author, and motivational speaker, widely recognized as the Kettlebell Pioneer of India. Transitioning from a successful career as a Mechanical Engineer, Parag made a bold move to pursue his passion for sports and fitness, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey that has significantly contributed to the growth of Kettlebell training and sports culture in India.

Parag Mhetre holds the prestigious title of being the first Indian to achieve the Master of Sports Rank in Kettlebell Sport Marathon, a testament to his exceptional skill and dedication in the field. As a multiple-time Asian champion and Amateur World Champion, Parag has represented India on the global stage over 14 times since 2013.

In 2011, Parag founded the Girevoy Sport India Federation (GSIF), an organization dedicated to promoting and popularizing Kettlebell Sports in the country. Under his leadership, GSIF has become a key player associated with the World Kettlebell Sport Federation (WKSF). Currently serving as the Executive Committee Member, Technical Control, and Antidoping with WKSF, Parag Mhetre continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Kettlebell sports worldwide.

Beyond his impressive athletic achievements, Parag is a passionate coach, sharing his expertise with enthusiasts and aspiring athletes. His mission is to reach youngsters and spread the work of motivation, fitness and humanitarian through his passion for sports and fitness.

Parag is Head Coach at EKFA (Energy Kettlebell Fitness Academy) which is India's first pioneer Kettlebell training academy which conducts workshops and courses to various coaches and students to uplift the career in sports and fitness. He also conducts podcasts regularly and have interviewed over 50+ women from all over the World who are above 40 & started Kettlebell Sports later in life. His mission is to spread Kettlebell Sport India & World wide.
