A Time in Which I Learned to Like Something

I am going to admit this outright: I am stubborn. I have always been extremely stubborn and self-conscious, and these traits extend to sports most of all. After an unfortunate mishap during fifth grade, which involved me getting a bloody nose, I have developed an animus to frisbees. So you can imagine my disdain when one of my friends insists on playing ultimate frisbee for P. E.. To my surprise, I actually enjoyed playing frisbee. While I was absolutely terrible, I found myself competitive in a sport I've always claimed to hate.
