Since I am becoming more and more involved in the world of Wikipedia, I thought it was time to update my intro section.

I have worked in a number of different fields in life, but all with one main focus, to help other people in need. Since the early 80s, I have worked in Christian ministry, mainly in youth related fields. I am an ordained minister, and focus with online counseling currently. I have also served in the United States Army during the first Gulf War; and have worked in the field of law enforcement. I have also assisted authorities in the capacity of a child advocate, protecting children online from sexual predators. I consider anyone who supports or protects predators as the same as a terrorist!

I love media sites, and frequently blog and do podcasts on media related subjects. I am also the moderator of the CIC forums, a re-imaged Battlestar Galactica discussion podcast forum at http://www.alanlight.com/galactica. This is one of the best Battlestar Galactica podcasts on the Internet.
