Biography Darnell was born Aug 6, 1983 in his hometown of Buffalo, NY. He began writing while in elementary. He often wrote stories for a hobby as a child. He wrote his first play in Boy scouts, at the age of 10 yrs old. From that age, he began writing poetry and focus on his craft as a writer. While in college in 2002, he took interest in writing song lyrics, which lead into him pursuing a career as a Hip-Hop artist in 2003. In 2008, he began writing blogs based on relationships and the challenges in life. The reaction and feedback that was given from writing the blogs encouraged Mckinnon to write his first book titled: Tug of Conflict- Young men and their battle against the rebellious lifestyle. Tug of Conflict is a book about young men and the mental battles that they experience in their youth. The book was published in summer of 2009. He then decided to write another book, The L Factor (Part one) which is scheduled for a world wide release in 2011. Darnell also is a freelance writer for various Magazines.
