Rajat Bhardwaj Mukherjee (born December 1, 1971) is an Indian politician and businessman associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He has held several positions within the party, including state council member and district vice-president in West Bengal. He is currently the International Relations In-charge for West Bengal BJP.[1]
Personal life[edit]
Mukherjee is also known for his involvement in the fire safety industry, where he serves as the managing director of a private limited company,[2] overseeing projects for clients such as Shapoorji Pallonji, Adani Wilmar, ITD Cementation, etc.
Outside of politics and business, Mukherjee has been engaged in community service activities, including his association with the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram. He is married to Smt. Jaya Mukherjee and has two children. Additionally, Mukherjee's restaurant, Rajat's Restaurant, has received recognition for its authentic Bengali cuisine, including the Best Restaurant Award at the Siliguri Food Festival 2008.
