My name is Kinsey. Born and raised in the hills of eastern Kentucky. when i was three years old i suffered a horrific fire accident that could've ended my life. The children's burn center took care of me all throughout my childhood and for the that i owe them a great debt. someday i will work there as a RN and live my dream of helping other children that are going through what i went through. as of today i play football for the university of Pikeville. coming from a small school that was a very big step from for me athletically and academically. I want to become a RN its been my goal for the longest time. I love to play and listen to music. The bass guitar is my instrument. In my life I've always been taught that god comes first so that is what i believe. I look up to a man named Lee VanDine. He has inspired me to do great things in life and I've never even met him. so far my college experience has been pretty calm. I was expecting more all nighters working on papers but so far I've not ran into that problem but what can i expect I'm still just a freshman. I have made some good friends and even better memories.

Technology and Me[edit]

When it comes to technology I'm just your average teenager about it. I don't know very much about it but i know enough. My cell phone never leaves my side you can say its my life line. If i don't have my phone i feel paranoid for some reason. When comes to using desktop computers I prefer a Dell computer thats what i had when i was growing up and thats what i know how to use. I've never really been big on Mac computers or apple in general other than my iPhone. I feel like Mac's aren't very user friendly but thats just my opinion. Now when it comes to using browsers i like google Crome it seems faster than internet explorer.

I've always felt that technology has hurt our ability to hold a conversation with another person because we are always texting. Don't get me wrong i text just as much as the next person but i know deep down its hard for me to hold a conversation with someone because i feel like i have become socially awkward. My father has always stressed the importance of being able to hold a conversation with someone and not text so much.
