Everskies is an online multiplayer dress-up game owned by Pocket Worlds, available through a website and an app on Android and iOS devices.
History[edit]
Everskies beta released as a website in 2020, and officially launched on the 23rd of January 2021.[1] In March of 2022, the game got an app on Google Play[2] and the App Store.[3]
Gameplay[edit]
The gameplay of Everskies is simple, consisting of dress-up, buying and selling items, and chatting in forums or clubs.
Buying and Selling[edit]
In Everskies there are two shops in which you can buy items, or collections of them called sets, used for dress-up, called respectively Clothing Cosmos and Orbital Outlet, the latter allowing for the selling part, being a marketplace, where users may list items for a set price, or to be auctioned. Thanks to the function of selling Everskies, like many multiplayer dress-up games, has an economy, where some items and sets are unavailable to purchase through Clothing Cosmos, due to selling for a limited amount of time, for a limited amount or being only available through other means, and can only be sold by users who own them.
Dress-up[edit]
The main aspect of the game is dressing up the pixel doll, Everskies offers two body type options, and 6 main skin tones, however there are items available to purchase that use their own skin tone. Most items on Everskies are user-made.
Creating items[edit]
Users who have the premium subscription named Starpass may submit items to Everskies, and if they comply to all design guidelines those items get uploaded to the Clothing Cosmos. Users receive a part of the currency made from the sale, and can exchange stars, one of the currencies available, for real-life money.
Social aspects[edit]
Everskies has two options for public user interaction - clubs, and official forums. Clubs are user-made, and can be user moderated. The official forums are separated into 5 categories - Announcements, Starpass, Everskies, Clothing and Creativity, however the only category users can only post to is the Starpass category.
