Bill Hiltz was a church planting pastor, seminary professor, and mission board director that passed away a couple days prior to the official date of May 19, 2012.
HILTZ, William Lea (Bill) - Of Mississauga, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 19, 2012, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Joan Hiltz (2011). Loved father of Joann, Lynda, Lea, Jenelle and Beth. Loving grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Royal City Baptist Church, 100 Ridgewood Ave., Guelph on Friday (3-5 & 6-8 p.m.) and on Saturday one hour prior to the service. Funeral service will follow on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 10:30 a.m.. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment at Springvale Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph. A tree will be planted in memory of William L. Hiltz in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 2:30 pm.
He was the Grandson of the 1924 Mayor of Toronto -W. W. Hiltz
