Palter Box A Palter Box is a form of garden bed which is located on the ground (as opposed to hanging other types of 'off ground' style garden beds. The Palter Box is constructed in any shape but all sides are built with bricks which are rendered as the finish. It has a concrete water proofed floor (base) and is used for either a running water feature or garden bed. It also has a backing board which is decorated and can form a part of the water feature (may include objects for the water to run over/ through).Kraccle10 (talk) 04:40, 20 October 2014 (UTC)

The Palter Box garden is thought to have first been built by the Irish based in Melbourne Australia, as an answer to building garden beds in areas with limited space.
