Dr. Patricia C. Zambryski is a microbiologist and professor at the University of California, Berkeley. She studies the molecular mechanisms by which the plant pathogen Agrobacterium is able to transform plant cells through the insertion of microbial genetic information.

She was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 2001 to the Plant Biology section.[2]. She was named an American Academy for the Advancement of Sciences fellow in 2011[3].
