Prof.Sankaranarayanan K. was born in a small village in the state of Kerala. Faced lot of hardships during his early days of life and in studies too , he has taken lot of struggle. His aim was to become an engineer. Because of his strong desire to become an Engineer, he could do his Engineering in MIT Manipal a reputed college in Udipi, Mangalore. After completion of his Engineering (Electronics & Communication) he joined Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Nasik Division in Maharashtra. He started his career as Asst. Engineer and finally rose to the level of addl. General Manager of Aircraft Overhaul Division. During his tenure 33 years in HAL, he has contributed a lot for the Aerospace sector and Also for 7 years he was the Head of Training Division of HAL, Nasik. A lot of Awards and Excellence Certificates are there in his credit. He also served The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI) as Hon. Secretary of Nasik Branch for nearly 10 years. He is a life member of The Aeronautical Society of India, Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD), Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), Quality Control Forum of India (QCFI), Indian Society for Technical education (ISTE), Integrated Chamber of Commerce India (ICCI),
Presently he is working in Amrita College of Engineering & Technology, Nagercoil as Special officer - Industrial Training and Head - Amrita Center for Industrial Training (ACIT)
