Magneto
Powers and abilities[edit]
Magneto's chief power is the ability to generate and manipulate magnetic fields. He has been shown performing all sorts of feats with this power (some of which arguably are not at all realistic).
Magneto can control metal objects without touching them. His strength is vast: he has been depicted as levitating nuclear submarines and entire stadiums. His power is also exquisitely precise: in X-Men: Days of Future Past, he stitches a wound to the back of his head, manipulating the needle with his magnetism.
Some stories, such as the early X-Men books, show Magneto restraining people with his magnetic fields. This is not unrealistic (it has been done in the real world with small animals.[1]).
Magneto can use his magnetism to create shields around himself.
