The Leader of the Opposition in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is a Member of Parliament who commands a large minority of his peers, united in opposition to government. The title of "Leader of the Opposition" is common to several other Commonwealth countries, though in Trinidad and Tobago it is specifically defined by the Constitution. The current Leader of the Opposition, since May 2010, is Keith Rowley.
