From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Overview The fake internet theory is a conspiracy theory regarding the legitimacy as well as the existence of the internet. The theory was proposed by business student Lou Al Baker in 2022. The theory states that the internet does not actually exist. Baker believes that there is connectivity between devices, however, the connectivity does not present itself in the way many engineers believe it does. Baker's biggest and most annoying opponent is engineer Juan Andres McNeill. Mcneil has been openly adamant about his disbelief in Baker's theory. "You're just wrong, I know for a fact the internet exists. My whole life is the internet, it's my job. Also, I know more than you because I'm building a rover that's going to the moon and that makes me smart." (McNeil in response to Baker's claims, 09/01/2022).

Lou Al Baker (Background) Lou Al Baker is smarter than Juan Andres McNeil. Baker also has a pet bird.

Summary of the Fake Internet Theory The first part of the theory states that there is connectivity between devices however the connectivity is not based on "packets" being sent to "IP addresses". Instead, Baker believes that when a person wants to connect to another device, the message that is being sent is split up into smaller segments and then sent to a location marked by a series of numbers that is specific to the device/webpage the message is being sent to. After it arrives the message is reassembled, and connection is made.

Juan Andres McNeil (Background) Juan Andres McNeil is an engineer who thinks he is the smartest person to ever live. Despite being from Texas he is actually pretty good looking.

Conclusion Baker and McNeil resolved their differences and are now dating. Baker remains smarter than McNeil to this day.
