Assignment: Creating a Sandbox

The sandbox is a place where you can start and edit your article until you are ready to release it on Wikipedia. You can create a sandbox inside your user space and add a link to your user page. This will allow you to practice Wikipedia syntax and editing without being held to the standards in Wikipedia:Manual of Style. You will continue to edit your article in this space until after the workshop.

Instructions:

1) Go to your user page and click “Edit”

2) Find a spot in the textbox where you would like the link to your sandbox to appear and type [[User:<Your username>/Sandbox]]

3) Click "Save page" to save the changes

4) Alternatively, you may type {{My sandbox}} instead to add a sandbox link with an illustrative picture
