This is a list of female sprinters who have won first, second, or third place[a] in an individual or relay sprinting event at world competitions at the highest level. These include the Olympic Games, World Athletics Championships, World Athletics Indoor Championships, IAAF World/Continental Cup[b], and Intercalated Games. Sprinters with at least one individual medal are highlighted.
