Hello!

I'm Liv. My username is a pun. Current goals include learning how to make an infobox, getting a note on my (English) talk page, and getting up the courage to put "citation needed" labels on things.

Interests

My interests include, but are certainly not limited to:

• Literature, particularly poetry and 20th century fiction
  • Southern Gothic literature (disclaimer: I made this account primarily to improve the state of the Southern Gothic page, which I have since been too intimidated by to do anything)
• the American South, particularly/including/in addition to Appalachia
• Politics (I study this!)
  • far-left, radical, and/or identity-based movements and conceptions
  • totalitarianism
  • populism
  • international relations
• Russia and Eastern Europe, particularly during the Communist era
• Social justice
• Queer/LGBTQI+ rights and issues

...that said, I'm happy to learn about almost anything, and you'll often find me doing so by reading and mildly editing a broad range of Wikipedia articles.
