Hello, I'm LovesMacs (talk) 00:00, 18 November 2008 (UTC). I know it's a silly name but there's a story behind that. After many attempts to find a name reflecting my interests that wasn't already taken, I chose this one because I enjoy Macintosh computers. I actually enjoy other things even more, such as reading, photography, music, and traveling. I will read almost anything, but I especially like history, religion, mythology, and literature in general.
I am currently reading the novel Children of the Black Sabbath by Anne Hébert, in order to write about it here at English Wikipedia. I may well write about it over at French Wikipedia too because the article over there is not very developed.
Sea urchins are a group of spiny globular echinoderms which form the class Echinoidea. About 950 species live on the seabed, inhabiting all oceans and depth zones from the intertidal to 5,000 metres (16,000 feet; 2,700 fathoms). Their tests (hard shells) are round and spiny, typically from 3 to 10 centimetres (1 to 4 inches) across. Sea urchins move slowly, crawling with their tube feet, and sometimes pushing themselves with their spines. They feed primarily on algae but also eat slow-moving or sessile animals. Their predators include sea otters, starfish, wolf eels, and triggerfish. This photograph, taken off the northern coast of Haiti near Cap-Haïtien, shows two species of sea urchin: a West Indian sea egg(top) and a reef urchin(bottom).

Tropical Storm Hernan was a short-lived tropical cyclone that caused widespread flooding and destructive mudslides across southwestern Mexico in late August 2020. The eighth named storm of the 2020 Pacific hurricane season, Hernan formed to the southwest of Mexico on August 26. The cyclone peaked with maximum sustained winds of 70 km/h (45 mph) and a minimum atmospheric pressure of 1001 mbar (hPa; 29.56 inHg) before passing just offshore western Mexico and dissipating in the Gulf of California. Despite not making landfall, Hernan dropped extremely heavy rainfall across several states, peaking at nearly 610 mm (24 in) in Jalisco. More than 305 mm (12 in) of rain fell across the Costa Grande of Guerrero from August 24 to 27. A total of 1,674 homes and 9 schools suffered severe damage. A man died after falling off his roof while checking for storm damage. The cyclone caused MXN$594.05 million (USD$26.91 million) in damage across seven states along the Pacific coast of Mexico. PersianPoetGal here, pleasure to make your acquaintance. I'm a half Persian (Iranian) female born and raised in great sunny California! I enjoy many things such as poetry (obvious of course), reading, writing, history, playing video games, filmmaking, light programming, and just making a person's day better :). I used to be active at the Windows Movie Maker Forums but now I have sort of semi-retired due to being crammed with my studies. I also contributed to "The Persian Page", a page devoted to implementing custom effects and transitions into Windows Movie Maker 2 using xml which is hosted and now fully edited by "PapaJohn" Buechler. I am an administrator (see my Request for Adminship) on the English Wikipedia and I voluntarily patrol the "Recent Changes Page". While on patrol I keep on the lookout to make sure articles are free of vandalism and abide by the Wikipedia Golden Rules :P. I also help create Wikipedia Ads for different WikiProjects, see this page for details. Believe it or not I start new articles and edit pre-existing ones every now and then! So please feel free to mercilessly edit any of my Wiki-Contributions just the same. I honestly feel there is always someone who can add a little extra ;). However, those not-so-nice enough to vandalize my page or anyone else's for that matter, it will not do you any good. Thanks for reading a little bit about me :D!
This spoof of a well known search engine was inspired by Swatjester's (originally Gurch's) spoof of a well known social networking site. It is important to remember however that Wikipedia is neither :P.
