I've often been accused of having an agenda on Wikipedia. I've been accused of advertising for companies I apparently work for, censoring on behalf of the BBC, heck, I've even had a Bureaucrat accuse me of being a nationalistic racist sympathizer. And it's true. I do have an agenda. Of course, everyone above was blatantly wrong.

My agenda is making Wikipedia a better place. Fixing policy violations, removing questionable sources, and most important, removing WP:BLP or WP:NPA violations. I'm not working for a company, or a government, and I'm not here to push politics or opinions. If I wanted to convince people to switch to linux, I'd learn how to program good apps, not spend my time removing criticism sections because of horrible writing and sourcing. Hell, I'd probably start off with a *nix version of AWB or VPRF, lord knows I want one for myself. If I wanted to advertise, I'd do it for something I actually stand to make a profit off of, not to mention I'd do it somewhere where people are looking for ads, like craigslist.

I'm not here because I hate your band. I have no idea who you are. The speedy tag is there because you didn't read WP:BAND. If your band isn't called Soul Coughing, Low, The Pillows, The Beatles, or Franz Ferdinand, I probably have never heard you.If your band is called Soul Coughing, Low, The Pillows, The Beatles, or Franz Ferdinand, and it isn't a trademark infringement, kickass, let's hang out sometime. Likewise, I don't think your band is not notable because I've never heard of it. I think it's not notable because it doesn't make any real claim to notability. Myspace and youtube are not notability, kiddos. Nor is playing at the prom.

If I were going to push an agenda here, I'd have many more edits to Ritalin, Abortion, Christianity, Capital Punishment, and so on. But I don't. Really, if you see me editing something, I probably see it as entertainment or a hobby at best, not something I really care about. I'm not going to say my edits never have a point of view, that would be impossible, and please leave a note for me if I leave something POV, I don't mean to.

Now that I've got that out of the way, let me make something very clear. If you want to accuse me of having any agenda outside of improving Wikipedia within it's own policies and guidelines, you had better have a damn good reasoning. If you're going to say I'm biased against all x or I'm censoring for y, you'd better be able to prove it.

Thank you. --lucid
