Hello, I live in the Warwickshire town of Atherstone and have done all my life. I've contributed to Wikipedia a lot over the past few years, I contribute far less now and I rarely log in to do so these days. I feel Wikipedia is becoming a toy for people who want to make their own rules and get slave editors to follow them, rules that stop pages being developed by the very people who know the subjects, people who go on sites about the subject and contribute to those sites. I've had pictures deleted, links repeatedly removed by anti link police editors who want Wikipedia to be link free, I've had content taken off sites I've linked to re-arranged for the article page and the link removed. Despite the fact that there's a wealth of other information on the linked site. Editing wars between these 'contributors' are rife. They've alienated many good contributors. I'm one of them.

I no longer add to articles and doubt I will add the numerous ready written articles I have in storage. I will protect the ones I have contributed to from blatant vandalism though.

About me

I'd rather be on the internet than watch tv, I'm keen on photography, I like the countryside and prefer small towns to big cities.
