Some material are just too funny to be deleted. Bad Jokes and Other Deleted Nonsense (BJAODN) existed as early as alongside with the Votes for Deletion. (although one may be unsure which one came first). Although it mainly contained edits that are removed from legitimate articles, some articles in the past did find themselves moved wholesale into the BJAODN when they were nominated for deletion.

Today, both pages have evolved into complex departments of their own, but at the same time they have appeared to have drifted further away. Most nonsense are speedy deleted (with some containing the possbility of libel), and editors who now focus more on building the encyclopedia do not see it just as amusing as it did in the past. At other times, one just decides to cross over to the other side, or vice-versa. BJAODN is available as an option in current deletion debates, but its use by editors has been extremely rare.
