Evan Reshef is a public figure probably best known for his time playing for the Tel Aviv/Jaffa Sabres, of the Israeli Football League (ILF) during the 2009 - 2010 season.[1] During that season the Sabres beat out the Jerusalem Lions in the finals on March 26, 2010 with a score of 26-22, after which Evan was named finals MVP (See IFL main page for full MVP list). Evan is pictured here discussing game strategy in an interview after a win against the Judean Rebels.
Early Life and Career[edit]
Evan was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he attended Heritage Hall (class of 2005). He went on to attend the University of Michigan (class of 2009) where he studied political science, and subsequently moved to Israel for a year to play for the Sabers. Upon returning to the United States he was briefly employed in the oil and gas industry in Oklahoma, after which he attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine (class of 2016). As a medical student, Evan was known by his peers for his participation on an intramural soccer team, as well as for serving as president of the OB/GYN student interest group.[2] Evan is currently an OB/GYN Resident Physician at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix (class of 2020).[3]

Varied Accomplishments[edit]
Aside from being named MVP during the 2009-2010 season of the Israeli Football League, Evan has several other notable accomplishments, including:
- Summiting Mount Kilimanjaro in June 2013.
- Finishing the 2014 Oklahoma City Memorial Half Marathon in 1:39:55.[4]
- Finishing the 2014 OUHSC Health Dash 10K in 0:46:27.[5]
- First author on an article published in the Journal of Fertility and Sterility of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in February 2016.[6]
- Obtaining a Doctor of Medicine degree in May 2016.
Other Notable Facts[edit]
- Evan's sister is a television weekday morning anchor for KOCO 5 News (ABC affiliate of Oklahoma City).[7]
