George Omoraro (born in August 25 1991) is a Nigerian entrepreneur, marketing strategist, and philanthropist. He is considered one of the individuals that has transformed the Nigeria marketing and communication space in over a decade. He is the CEO of Rage Media.

Early life[edit]

George Omoraro was born in Kwara State, Ilorin, Nigeria. He hails from Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Covenant University, Ogun State. He attended St Joseph Nursery and Primary School, Ilorin for his primary education, and the University of Ilorin Secondary School for his secondary education. [1] In his university days, George Omoraro was the Students’ Council Chairman at Covenant University. [2]

Career[edit]

After graduating from the university at the age of 19,[1] George moved down to Lagos and signed up for a trainee position at JWT in Lagos. Therein, he kickstarted his advertising campaign with the Ford Focus launch campaigns which partnered with celebrities like; Manny cool FM OAP, IK Osaduwa amongst others, who were captains of the various teams.


He established his career as an advertising strategist and media consultant, after executing numerous advertising campaigns such as; “Pay your tax awareness campaign for the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), The Nigeria launch of Panasonic Technological products, and the popular WhatsApp campaign powered by Nokia. His immense contributions while working at Utopia Media birthed groundbreaking campaigns that increased the overall market share for the Martini brand, Reckitt Benckiser brands, and Grey Goose Vodka. [3]

George Omoraro got an appointment as the General Manager for digital, at Blue Bird communication after which he started a full-fleshed digital agency for Blue Bird communication called “Digi Engage” which is a subsidiary of the Blue Bird Group.

In 2016, George Omoraro relocated to Abuja where he was responsible for the creation and structuring of the digital presence of several non-profit organizations, politicians and prominent public figures. [3][4]Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page).
