Currently, I serve on the Board of Directors of HDMI Licensing Authority, as President of MHL, LLC., as Management and Technical Representative to the HDMI Founders, and I serve on the Board of Directors of the HDMI Forum, and as Chairman of the Forum's Marketing Working Group, responsible for defining future versions of the HDMI Specification. HDMI has won two Emmy Awards and is incorporated into nearly one billion devices annually.

I have over twenty years of experience in graphics and digital video product marketing. Held Marketing Director and technical management positions at Sigma Designs, a provider of integrated System-on-Chip (SoCs) solutions and Wink, a pioneer in interactive TV systems, and led the team that produced in-program interactive television applications viewed in over 17 million US households, across major US television networks including CNN, NBC and HBO. The interactive software I developed for The Discovery Channel was nominated for an Emmy Award and was the subject of an extensive case study in interactive television advertising and viewer retention.

Earlier in my career, at Berkeley Systems, I managed the engineering team responsible for several versions of the popular “After Dark” screen saver. I am a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and I hold multiple patents in the areas of audio and digital television systems.
