G.R.S. or Gandhi Rachnatmak Samiti is a social cum cultural cum technical club of engineering college B.I.T. Sindri[1] in Jharkhand, India. An elite club whose alumni members are placed very well all over the country.

The GANDHI RACHNATMAK SAMITI , established in 1969, to save our cultural heritage, to spread knowledge,maintain peace and communal harmony, non violence. The G.R.S library provides with wide range of books on various subjects for on campus and off campus students. Annual programs are organised to reduce the burden of students .These programs gives message on the emerging problems of modern world. The insignia to the institute provides a platform for the exuberant and talented technocrats vexed in different forms of art. GRS club is busy throughout the year, eliminating the burden of students and refreshes them through various club activity marking different occations.

History[edit]

Gandhi Rachnatmak Samiti was established on 2nd October in 1969, on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti by the director and professors of B.I.T. Sindri.Since then this club works on the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi in the direction of mutual benefit of society.

The G.R.S. library contains novels, journals and periodicals. It contains over 10,000 books of inspiring novels,manuals,periodicals.This is the most distinguished part of G.R.S.Club.
