Bertha Margaret Boye (1883 - September 4, 1930)

Boye designed one of the most popular posters used in the California women's suffrage campaign of 1911.^[1] Her winning poster, sponsored by the College Equal Suffrage League, was shown throughout the state by "leading department stores and business houses."^[2] Later that year, she also won another poster competition for a fashion show poster.^[3]

Boye designed a fountain for the garden of Henry Perrine Baldwin.^[4] Boye showed her work at the Galerie des Beaux Arts in 1924.^[4]

Boye died in Calais on September 4, 1930.^[5]
