NoToDogMeat is a global campaign run by a United Kingdom charity, the World Protection for Dogs and Cats in the Meat Trade.
The NoToDogMeat campaign protests the use of dogs and cats as food and how these animals are treated prior to and during slaughter.
NoToDogMeat has been especially vocal speaking against the Yulin Dog Meat festival.[1]
They also protest at the Chinese and Korean embassies in several different countries.[1]
NoToDogMeat has supported activists who have rescued animals for slaughter. In April 2015, Chinese activists, including Sophie Ling, rescued 800 cats.[2] Ling is an outreach coordinator for NoToDogMeat.[2] In June of 2015, NoToDogMeat supported the activist, Mrs. Yang from China to rescue dogs and cats.[3]
